Edit an external camera’s name in the ShowRoom app

This is a step by step guide to edit the names of the external cameras configured in the Showroom app.

1.- From the main view, unfold the menu (tap the menu button on the upper-left corner):

2.- In the menu. Tap on the Cameras option to display the available cameras.

The Cameras menu shows the device’s cameras and all the external cameras that have been configured for this account. There is an edit icon on the upper-right corner of the screen. This icon enables the edit mode.

 3.- Tap the edit icon. (Note: If this icon is not shown, please, contact your customer success representative to enable this feature).

Notice the line under the external camera’s names. This means that the device’s cameras cannot be renamed. Only the external cameras can be edited. 

4.- Tap on any of the external cameras name to enter the keyboard.

5.- Type in the new name.
6.- Now, with the new name entered, tap the SAVE button on the upper-right corner of the screen.
The camera is now displayed in the list with its new name. A confirmation message will appear at the bottom of the screen with the text ‘Changes saved’.
