Hardware and Network Requirements
PC (User workstation)
1 x PC with webcam per agent (laptop or desktop, Windows recommended).
Google Chrome installed.
Whisbi Agent installed. The Whisbi Agent Chrome extension allows you to use the Sell experience. Click here to visit the Whisbi Agent in the Google Chrome Store.
Access validation
The user device needs internet access via Wi-Fi with no restrictions to the domain *.whisbi.com through ports 80, 443 (default ports for browsing and real-time video), and port 1935 (needed for the Broadcast experience).
Network requirements
To grant a quality video session it’s essential to meet some network requirements:
- Ping: It measures how long it will take your device to reach the Whisbi systems.
- Bandwidth: Either with a Wifi connection or in 4G, the bandwidth is important to keep a fluent session. It is not a stable value, there are peaks when a big image is sent, for example, and valleys when it’s only a plain text. We’ve calculated an average to define an accurate bandwidth range.
- Frames per second: Considering the resolution of the images sent/received by Whisbi, the frames per second will vary according to the bandwidth. The more images you have in a second, the more smooth the video transmission will be. 6 FPS is an optimal frequency for all the Whisbi features and we recommend 8 FPS to ensure a more stable and constant experience.
Recommended values
We present the values recommended by the Whisbi team to ensure run a perfect session. Settings used for this values are 50% image quality configuration, portrait mode for Video Walk and 800x600px resolution for External Cameras.
