Engage Theme Creator
To begin with, Make sure that you give your Pod a name that is easy to be recognised for your later, as you will later be accessing it from the Theme list pages, which might get crowded with time.
Note that the “Engage” prefix is added here automatically, so that you can differ your Engage type Pod from the other types (WIP).
Finally you will need to assign a Seed to your Pod. If you are not sure which one to choose to begin with, make sure to contact our Tech Implementation team. However once you have the Seed for the 1st Theme and you want to create new visualisations (think specific promotions, actions,…), be aware that 1 Seed can only be connected to 1 Pod at a time.
Scrolling down, there are 4 possible screens in total during the Broadcast:
- Promotion Banner
- The Promotion Banner the initial state of the Engage pod. It’s the very first page or section in the Pod context shown to the page visitor. It can be as simple as an image, with intention evolve into something more complex where the visitor can do different actions in website.
- Both background image and title+subtitle message are customisable with the live preview of the currently applied ones shown. Note that in this case we are using the default Whisbi image, which in a way serves as a placeholder in case you don’t upload any image yourself, or if any error occurs.
- As soon as the Broadcast starts, the Promotion Banner should automatically be replaced by the Live Stream Broadcast.
- Live State
- The Broadcast live stream can happen anytime. The customers use either an iOS or an Android device, with respective Broadcast application installed on it, to produce the Broadcast video stream.
- Since the Live state is the Broadcast itself, for the moment it has only 1 editable element, which is optional. That is the “Title” element, allowing you to create the optional text which will be shown in the upper left corner of your Engage Pod during the Broadcast. We though this feature might be useful in order to make any page visitor aware what is currently going on on your page.
- The buttons and the texts showing are already customised and adapted to your Webpage style. Currently we are showing the “Live” button, clickable “Un-like” and “Un-mute”buttons, and a small “Whisbi” logo in the lower right corner. This is how your Live state screen could look like during the Broadcast:
- End State
- When the live streams ends, a new page will be shown before transition back to the Promotion Banner.
- This new page is relevant for lead capture. It is configurable in Backstage and has a timeout. Once the timeout expires, it should transition back to the Promotion Banner or initial state of Engage pod.
- One of the goals for this final page, is to add value to the customer, such as giving an opportunity for buyer to provide some personal information (optional) so she can be contacted by Brand agents.
- Both background image and title+subtitle message are customisable with the live preview of the currently applied ones shown. Note that in this case we are using the default Whisbi image, which in a way serves as a placeholder in case you don’t upload any image yourself, or if any error occurs.
- Error State
- In case an error impeding a Broadcast stream occurs a dedicated error screen is shown.
- Both background image and title+subtitle message are customisable with the live preview of the currently applied ones shown. Note that in this case we are using the default Whisbi image, which in a way serves as a placeholder in case you don’t upload any image yourself, or if any error occurs.
